Background Information
LOCAL GROUP OF NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZERS INSTALLED AS 28th CHAPTER
On April 27th 2007 at the 19th National Association of Professional Organizer’s Annual Conference and Organizing Exposition in Minneapolis, MN, the North Coast Ohio Chapter of the National Association of Professional Organizers was officially recognized. This recognition places the North Coast Ohio Chapter in an elite group of 29 of Chapters across the nation. Accepting the honor at the Conference was AJ Pfander of Organize & Simplify in Avon. She stated, "The state of Ohio now has two NAPO Chapters. This exciting development is reflective of the explosive growth of the industry both locally and across the nation."
Founding members have been meeting, completing required paperwork, and recruiting other Professional Organizers in the region for the past year. Their mission is "to provide professional development and networking opportunities for member Professional Organizers, promote the professional organizing industry and develop associate partnerships."
The initial slate of Chapter Officers are:

- Vice President, AJ Pfander, Organize & Simplify, Avon
- Treasurer, Muffy Kaesberg, Organizing 4 U, Cleveland Hts
- Secretary, JoEllen Salkin, Organizing 4 U, Solon
- Director-at-Large, Christy Talese, Organize Me For Good, Wooster
NAPO further recognized this honor with a personal visit by NAPO President, Barry Izsak on May 7th 2007. As its first official function, the North Coast Ohio Chapter of NAPO hosted a reception for Mr. Izsak as he personally congratulated the 20+ local Professional Organizers who became the Charter Members of this new Chapter.
